Grot-shop Update

by davidcox on 19 July, 2012

One Stop (Tesco) have issued a statement:
“We have been working hard to find an occupier for the property and continue to do so. We have liaised with the council and listened to the community, and our maintenance team will soon be on site to address this issue.”

I’m very pleased One Stop/Tesco have finally agreed to do something about this untidy shop, I’m sorry it has taken the threat of enforcement action to get them to act. However if they truly want to work with the community, how about letting a charity use the shop until they can find a tenant – that way the building could be kept in good order and Tesco would be giving something back to the community.
